Janice Lorrah is Of Counsel at Cowart Dizzia LLP. 

A persuasive and successful civil litigator, Janice has a true passion for representing clients before administrative agencies and in the court room.  As attorney for more than 20 years, Janice has developed a knack for cutting through complex legal problems and developing creative, “think outside the box” solutions to aid some of the most underrepresented and disenfranchised members of society. 

Janice is a graduate of The College of New Jersey and Rutgers- Camden Law School where she was a member of the Law Review Editorial Board.  During law school, Janice worked for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office Labor, Commerce & Licensing and Banking & Insurance Divisions.  After graduating from law school in the top 5 percent of her class, Janice was a clerk for the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman in the Federal District Court of New Jersey and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Following her clerkship, Janice practiced law in Philadelphia, PA and Denver, CO.   She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Montana and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous other states.

Janice holds a certificate in Forensic Accounting from the AICPA which she uses to help providers facing government audits as well as cases where seniors have been the victims of fraud or financial exploitation.

Janice currently makes her home in Delaware with her husband and daughter.  A firm believer of being the change you want to see in the world, Janice is an active member of various charities and civic organizations within her community, including starting a donation drive to collect toiletries, art supplies, and holiday cards for skilled nursing residents.
